The age-old question must surely be where do we go when we die? My aim in writing is to portray, in different scenarios, the infinite possibilities which extend in this Universe and many others…

Although there are many excellent books already on the bookshelves; myriad meditation forms to practice, religions to join or rail against and almost as many philosophies as there are people in the world, I felt strongly – and still do feel – that the best way to write truly thought-provoking stuff is to create real, warts-and-all people to populate my books and place them in real-life situations.

Whether one is aligned to a particular religious belief, whether one is materialistic or deems oneself ‘non-spiritual’ – the immutable fact of life is we are here only for a short space of time and while life is surely there to be lived there must come a point when – if just for a moment – one wonders what’s next?

I, like many others, believe in Personal Progression, and it was through my own journey that I began to write. Spiritual tales, yes it is true, but based on the lives of ordinary people just like us; people who run through every gamut of emotion during our earth journey; happiness, sadness, loss, love, hatred, isolation, confusion, pain, joy, regret, redemption – we have all of us been there and it is this intrinsically human element which has always been my inspiration.
